Moving Day: March 18th, 1pm
Well, it looks like we're moving to Spokane. I've had this feeling that we're moving for a little while now. However, this morning I saw an invoice from a moving company proving that our stuff is scheduled to leave our home at 9am on March 18th. That, combined with a few subtle clues (labeled boxes printed in high resolution, color-coded, Helvetica 172 font filled with our stuff, for example) is leading me to believe that we are, in fact, moving to Spokane. It's also a key indicator that Tine has been managing the moving process. If I had been managing the move, here's how it would've rolled out:
Timeframe: Spring (probably a nice day, with not too much going on - this could be sometime in March, April, May, or June)
Details: 1) Get boxes at Safeway the night before the move 2) Throw stuff into boxes after dinner, tape em' up, get back to whatever I was watching that night and 3) Oh yeah, reserve a moving truck. I should probably call U-Haul. Closed? No worries, I'll call em' in the morning. I'm sure it'll be fine. And finally, 4) pick up the truck, throw stuff in it and drive to Spokane.
I gotta say, I'm pretty sure Tine has a better methodology, here. Thanks Babe! However, I wasn't totally out of the planning. I made sure that we scheduled the movers with enough time to make the day and a half drive to catch round one of March Madness in Spokane. If that isn't the right time to roll into Zag country, I don't know what is.
