Day Two (a little bowling)

I booked the group bowling session before the storm started. I'm glad I did. We left for Hilltop Bowl at 11am in an absolute downpour. The timing was perfect. We had a great time and had the whole place to ourselves. Hilltop Bowl in Ilwaco is one of the only bowling alleys left with a natural wood floor (most are synthetic). It makes it a bit more challenging as the lanes are slightly different from each other. I think I had the high game for the day at 229, but there were many stellar games in our group. The fam can bowl! And they can put some muscle behind it, too. Michael threw the fastest strike ball I have ever seen. He was clocked at over 25mph on nearly every throw (I throw at about 15mph for comparison). I'd say Adam won the award for best style (pictured lower left) with impeccable form each and every throw. It was also nice to see Grandma Bailey's high score of 245 still up on the leader board. Not too shabby for 79. She has qualified for the national tournament in Reno twice now. I think she'll be in the running for the finals for the next 25 years or so. I hope I have that kind of longevity.

Tine, You are looking awesome and happy as a new mom. I'm impressed, but not surprised!
