Big Water

The Spokane River was at an all time high last week. This Winter recorded the second highest snowpack on record, so it was no big surprise that we'd have some big runoff in the Spring. It was pretty amazing to see. There wasn't too much flooding downtown. But, they did close a few roads as well as the footbridge you see in the photo above. They were concerned that a rogue spray would knock someone off the bridge. It's mellowed out in the past few days, but the water level is still quite high.
