Halloween 2009

Well, we all dressed up this year. Mac was a Komono dragon (which still fit him from last year - yes we are lazy Halloween parents) and Andre' was "Old-School Chinese Guy" (Yes, this was Mac's costume from two years ago - note the previous lazy reference). Mac got to pick our costumes this year, so I was a pilot and Tine was a cowboy sheriff. Tine stitched three stripes instead of four in my jacket and thus made me a co-pilot instead of a pilot (I think she subconsciously didn't want any chance of me flying the plane). Mac and I hit the streets for Candy while Tine and Andre' prepped for a little get together we hosted for our neighbors. Mac pitched a fit when I wouldn't let him eat his candy after our first score, but quickly learned that more houses meant more candy. He also picked up the routine of looking houses with lights on. "Dad, lights on,... let's go!" It was a fun night. And Mac didn't get too intoxicated with sugar so we all actually go to bed at a reasonable hour. It was a really nice night.
